BROOKLINE -- May Kong Chow Lo, 96, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2022.
May, born in Myanmar, was the youngest daughter of the late father Lok Shen Chow and mother Quai Hao. She had two brothers and two sisters.
She was a teacher at the Chinese International School in Myanmar. She had lived in China and Hong Kong briefly before moving to Boston in the early 80’s. She loved music, reading, and was often complimented for her exceptional penmanship. She was recognized by her ethics, dedication and strong sense of responsibility in life.
May was preceded in death by her daughter, both brothers and one sister.
She was a wonderful, kind and loving mother of Terence Lo and his wife Pat of New York, and Kim Hong Lo of Boston, adored and cherished grandmother of Michelle Lo and her husband Michael Kerick, Wen Lo, and Ruby Lo. A private service will be held February 19, 2022. Interment will be at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, MA/NH Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
