Perry Lee
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Perry Lee on Monday, August 4, 2025.
Perry, as he was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love, kindness, intelligence, and generosity. Those who knew Perry remember him as smart, critical in his thinking and writing, noble, and exceptionally generous with his time and spirit.
In January 2023, Perry joined Northeastern University College of Engineering as the Associate Director of IT Infrastructure and Architecture for the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. But Perry was so much more than his title, he was the heart and soul of the department. His infectious passion for technology was matched only by his genuine care for people. Perry had a remarkable gift for deep, meaningful conversations and was always willing to help others, whether with work challenges or life's difficulties.
The entire Electrical and Computer Engineering staff cherished Perry's presence. His constant smile and radiant positive energy had an extraordinary ability to lift others, especially during the most challenging times. Perry approached every new challenge with enthusiasm and determination, never shying away from difficult tasks and finding genuine joy in exploring new ideas. His adventurous spirit, thoughtful decision-making, and unwavering kindness made him not just an invaluable colleague, but a treasured friend. When Perry was in the office, there was an unmistakable warmth that filled the space, and when he wasn't there, everyone felt his absence. The entire office will be forever grateful for the precious time they were able to share with such an extraordinary person.
We ask that you remember Perry not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many more whose lives were touched by his warmth and generosity.
Perry is survived by his loving wife, Pamela, and two sons, Aiden and Evan.
Funeral service will be held at Wing Fook Funeral Home on Friday, August 9, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
Perry will be deeply missed.
