Mrs. Muoi Dang, beloved sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on August 7, 1943, in Chợ Lớn, Saigon’s historic Chinese district, Muoi grew up amidst the vibrant sights, sounds, and traditions of Vietnam’s ethnic Chinese community while raising a large family of five children. In 1978, amid the upheaval following the war, Muoi courageously helped her family flee Vietnam in search of a better life. After leaving Vietnam and spending months in a Malaysian refugee camp, Muoi and her husband, Chau Tat, made their way to the United States, where they began a new life in Boston, Massachusetts.

Moving her family to a foreign country with no money in their pockets and not speaking the language, Muoi showed her courage, remarkable resilience, devotion to her family and quiet strength. She was also known for her brilliant smile, her carefree spirit and her sharp sense of humor. She expressed her love daily to her growing family through her cooking, which  provided comfort and sustenance for them all. As her children grew and the grandchildren appeared, Muoi thoroughly enjoyed traveling to visit her out of town family in Philadelphia, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Muoi is survived by her devoted husband, Chau Tat, her three brothers Dang Hoa Tu, Dang Hoa Tai and Dang Phat, her five children, Alex (Pan Lin), Teresa (Adam Schreiber), Sandy (Tom Hayslip), David (Yan Chang Huang), and Kim (Michael Huang); and her seven cherished grandchildren, Chloe Tat, Jolie Schreiber, Jonah Schreiber, Khai Ly Hayslip, Lillianne Hayslip, Christopher Tat and Josephine Tat 

Her family and loved ones will forever remember her warmth, humor, and carefree spirit.

鄧桂萍夫人，心愛的妹妹、妻子、母親和祖母，於2025年10月26日平靜地去世，享年82歲。鄧桂萍於1943年8月7日出生在西貢歷史悠久的華人區Chợ Lớn，在越南華人社群充滿活力的風景、聲音和傳統中長大，同時撫養了一個由五個孩子組成的大家庭。 1978年，在戰後的動盪中，鄧桂萍勇敢地幫助家人逃離越南，尋找更好的生活。 離開越南，在馬來西亞難民營呆了幾個月後，鄧桂萍和她的丈夫Chau Tat前往美國，在那裡他們在馬薩諸塞州的波士頓開始了新的生活。

鄧桂萍把她的家人搬到了一個口袋裡沒有錢、也不會說語言的外國，她表現出了她的勇氣、非凡的韌性、對家庭的奉獻和安靜的力量。 她還以燦爛的笑容、無憂無慮的精神和敏銳的幽默感而聞名。 她每天透過烹飪來表達她對成長中的家庭的愛，這為他們所有人提供了安慰和寄託。 隨著她的孩子長大和孫子孫女的出現，鄧桂萍非常喜歡旅行，去費城、洛杉磯和舊金山看望她出城的家人。

鄧桂萍的遺屬是她忠實的丈夫畢少明、她的三個兄弟Dang Hoa Tu(鄧家和), Dang Hoa Tai (鄧家财) 和Dang Phat (鄧家城)，她的五個孩子継榮（Pan Lin/ 林攀)、月華（Adam Schreiber）、月儀（Tom Hayslip）、継原（Yan Chang Huang / 黄艳嫦 和 月金（Michael Huang / 黃庆文）；以及她的七個珍愛的孫子，Chloe Tat、Jolie Schreiber、Jonah Schreiber、Khai Ly Hayslip、Lillianne Hayslip、Christopher Tat和Josephine Tat

她的家人和親人將永遠記住她的溫暖、幽默和無憂無慮的精神。
