September 3, 1946 – January 9, 2026

Wing Chi Tam, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at the age of 79. Wing Chi was known by those close to him for his generous spirit, easy going attitude and willingness to lend a helping hand. Throughout his life, he found great joy in eating out with his families and friends and going to the casino.  His legacy is one of perseverance and the deep love he held for his heritage and his home.

He is survived by his children, his sons Ted Tam and his wife Eileen Tan, Eric Tam and his daughters  Kit Lai Tam, Colleen Tam and her husband Andy Huang and his 5 grandchildren, Ethan Tam, Lydia Tam, Abby Tam, Jasmine Huang and Jayden Huang who will all miss his warm smile and pat on the head dearly; his brothers Wing Chick Tam, Wing Hei Tam, Wing Chiu Tam and sisters Chik Yuk Leung and Choi Yuk Tam and their families.  Wing Chi also leaves behind his brothers, Wing Chick Tam, Wing Hei Tam, and Wing Chiu Tam; his sisters, Chik Yuk Leung and Choi Yuk Tam; and their many loving families. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
