Langelo Vi Ho Obituary

Langelo V. Ho, age 54, cherished son, brother, and uncle from Quincy, MA, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, after bravely fighting cancer. His absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew and loved him.

Langelo was a talented writer, artist, entrepreneur, and an enthusiastic Capoeira and Flamenco dancer. He found joy in spending time with his family, hiking, camping, and immersing himself in different cultures. Known for his struggle with mahjong, he strived to get better at the game.

Langelo’s life is one of resilience and transformation.  After leaving Vietnam at the age of seven, he grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and earned a distinguished Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.  He later embarked on a profound inward journey and discovered his innate talent and passion for painting, writing, and dance.  These artistic expressions became the pillars of his creative endeavors, channeling his emotions and experiences onto the canvases with vivid strokes of colors and captivating imagery.  At the heart of Langelo's artistic philosophy lies an unwavering belief in embracing the radiant rays of opportunity and cherishing the sanctity of dreams. He ardently believes that happiness is a precious gift that everyone must have the audacity to bestow upon themselves.  He showcase his work on Instagram @flamepoeira.

His family deeply cherished him, and his infectious kindness and warm smile touched everyone around him. He leaves behind loving parents, Na Ho and Cindy Vuong; sisters and brothers-in-law Carina Wong and Tim Shun Tang, Frances Chan and Ming To Chan, Kim Ho and Cho Yiu, Felicity Ho and Michael Ly, and May Ho and Simon Chiu. His nieces and nephews—Norika, Isaac, Nicolas, Garrett, Hazel, Hana, Chase, and Hayden—will hold his memory close.

The funeral service will be held at Wing Fook Funeral Home, 13 Gerard Street, Boston, on Wednesday, January 28th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Langelo Ho to Prostate Cancer Foundation.
