Sue Nan Chin, age 96, passed away peacefully March 9, 2026. She was born on November 20, 1929 in Toishan, China. Sue immigrated to the United States from China on March 14, 1955. Sue worked as a seamstress for many years and had a great ability to make anything. She later worked for Nashua Corporation making computer discs. Sue’s greatest passion was gardening. She did not cheat, she started everything from seeds. After retiring, Sue moved and lived with her son Dale Chin and his business partner James Furlong. Together they continued gardening with Sue at the Berkeley Community Garden in Boston where she made many new friends. Bargain hunting was also a great adventure for Sue. Big fan of Filene's Basement, Jordan Marsh, Marshalls, TJ Maxx just to name a few. Also loved to watch her Cantonese soap opera on TV along with her game shows, Family Feud and The Price is Right.
