Kevin Wat Hing Yee Obituary

Mr. Kevin Wat Hing Yee passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, at Newton‑Wellesley Hospital, with his family and friends by his side. He was 87. After four courageous years living with stomach cancer, he left this world with the same quiet strength, dignity, and grace that defined his life.

Kevin was born on April 22, 1939, in Jingyang Village, Chongqi Town, Taishan City, Guangdong Province, China. He was the cherished only child of Fun Kuey Yee and Tai Oi Leung, and he carried their values—kindness, humility, and perseverance—through every chapter of his life.

In 1966, honoring his parents’ wishes and seeking new opportunities, Kevin journeyed from Hong Kong to the United States. A year later, in 1967, he married his wife, Connie Yuk Chun Ma. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their partnership was the heart of the family.

Kevin’s greatest joy was being surrounded by the people he loved. He is survived by his beloved wife, Connie; his son Gary and daughter‑in‑law Stephanie; his daughter Theresa and son‑in‑law Dennis; and his four grandchildren—Vanessa, Amanda, Angela, and Brandon—who brought him endless pride. He also leaves behind three adored grand‑dogs, Nikki, Mimi, and Luna, who never failed to make him smile.

To those who knew him, Kevin will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his steady presence, and the quiet way he showed his love—through hard work, through sacrifice, through the small everyday acts that spoke louder than words. His legacy lives on in the family he nurtured, the values he passed down, and the love he gave so generously.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
