Lau, Sau-To, of Braintree, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family members, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Thursday, January 2, 2020.
His family knew him only as an innovative and mild-mannered mechanical engineer, a supportive father, and a loving husband. Sau-To was known for his amusing stories, which he loved to share with his family.
As an adult, he graduated from UMass Lowell and Lehigh University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering, respectively. He worked in several companies around Massachusetts as a mechanical engineer. Sau-To was an enthusiastic photographer, a huge fan of the Oldies, and always the most fun person at any family gatherings.
He is survived by his loving wife Siu Pik, his son Anthony, and his daughter Jessica.
