Hung La passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on June 11, 2022, after a long and happy life. She has lived in Massachusetts, surrounded by her children and their families, since emigrating from Vietnam in 1990. She is survived by five children: Huy Tang and his wife Nancy, Le Tang Kolozetski and her husband John, Hue Tang Adams and her husband Mark, Cuong Tang and his wife Celine, and Phuong Perez and her husband Mario; her eight grandchildren, Fletcher Tang and his wife Kimberly, Faren Tang, Shannon Chen, Justin Chen, Teddy Adams, Alex Perez, Edwin Perez, and Achilles Tang; and two great-grandchildren, Basil Tang and Ryan Tang. She is predeceased by her husband, Tang Mao Long and son Tang Khanh Tan.
