Beck Won Lew (aged 96) passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family on February 22, 2023. She was born in Toishan, Guangdong, China. She married and moved to Boston in 1951, where she worked as the hostess of the family restaurant Lew Shing for more than 40 years.

She had an extraordinary green thumb. She loved flowers and tending to her garden. In later years, she also developed a passion for painting and calligraphy.

She cared deeply for her family and tirelessly sponsored the immigrations of all her siblings to the United States. She was also very active in her community, generously giving her time and money to many organizations, especially the Loong Kong Tien Yee Association. Her contributions were instrumental in carrying on her husband's legacy.

She is survived by her son William and his wife Lisa, grandson Magnum and his wife Rainie, and granddaughter Leticia.

Visitation begins at 10AM. A traditional Chinese ceremony and services will begin at 12PM.
