Obituary of Wing Wah Mak
Wing Wah Mak passed away peacefully at home on March 21st, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 44 years Kathy Mak (Moriarty) of North Andover, his daughter Colleen Swiniarski (Mak) and son in-law Gregg Swiniarski of Pelham New Hampshire, his son Tim Mak and daughter in-law Kasey Mak (Tang) of North Andover. He leaves behind four loving grandchildren Mo Kan Morghan Swiniarski, Christopher Kit Chi Swiniarski, Brody Bo Chi Swiniarski, and Yan Hei Makinley Mak.
Mr. Mak or Mak Sir as his close friends called him spent his life helping people in Boston’s China Town. He started his professional career at CACA in the early 80’s then ventured off and opened Wing Wah Mak Notary Public in 1986 dedicating his life to helping people immigrate to the US. His passion of helping people lead him to a successful career for over 40 years, helping those people that searched him out. He prided himself on the work he did in the China Town community and the families he helped.
Above all else family was the most important, he taught his children and grandchildren that family always came first and to respect and love your family. He will be greatly missed by those that knew him especially by those closest to him.
Wing leaves behind a very large family, being a child of 10. Of Hong Kong his eldest sister Andy Mak and her husband Raymond Leung, his older brother Peter Mak and his wife Fung, Sister Fandy Li (Mak) and husband Jacky, sister Candy Mak and Sister Lydia Yeung (Mak) and her husband Chris . Of North Andover sister Cindy Au (Mak) and her husband Chann and Sister Sandy Tang (Mak) and her husband Danny. Of California Sister Laurent Lam (Mak) and her husband Pui and Brother Andrew Mak and his wife Anita Mak (Chui). Of Vermont Sister in-law Lynda Moriarty Sullivan, of Florida Brother in-law Jack Moriarty and wife Patricia. Wing had over 32 nieces and nephews and 30 great nieces and nephews.
訃告 先考諱永華麥公府君廣東 於四月一日 遺體現停厝永福殯儀舘謹定 終正寢積閏享壽七十有三歲 於二零二四年三月廿一日壽 省順德縣勒流鎮軍基村人氏 ( 星期一) 下午 ( 四時至八時開祭四月二日 星期二) 上午十一時出殯 安葬於Holy Sepulchre 墳場 自置壽地忝屬 宗親戚友鄉世誼哀此訃
