Obituary of Dak Chun Fung (周德珍)
Dak Chun Fung (maiden name Chou), 62, died on January 9, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Dak Chun grew up in Guangdong Province, China, and immigrated to the United States with her family in her late teens. She met her husband, Hak Yung, while they both worked at the same Chinese restaurant. They lived in West Bridgewater, MA, where they raised three children. Up until her cancer diagnosis and treatments, Dak Chun served as the primary caregiver for her mother for almost 10 years.
Dak Chun enjoyed cooking, gardening, and volunteering in the kitchen at Tian Ann Temple, where she was a devout member.
Dak Chun is survived by her husband of 40 years, Hak Yung Fung; her children, Anna Fung-Morley, Chuck Fung, and Daniel Fung; son-in-law Ryan Morley; and grandchildren Maxwell and Edith. She also leaves behind her siblings: brothers Te Chen Chou (and Annie) and Te Hsuing Chou (and Bao Lian); sister Dak Oi Chou; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and grandnieces. She is predeceased by her parents, Pak Ho Chou and Big Wun Tam.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours at Wing Fook Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., followed by a procession to Forest Hills Crematory via Tian Ann Temple.

德珍與丈夫馮克勇(結婚40年)、遺有女兒馮美貞(及其丈夫瑞恩·莫利)、兒子馮俊文和馮俊明,以及孫子麥克斯韋爾和孫女伊迪絲。她的兄弟周德權(及其妻曼麗)、周德雄(及其妻寶蓮),以及妹妹周德愛也一同緬懷她。此外,德珍還留下了許多侄子、侄女、外甥和外甥女。她的父母周柏豪和譚碧雲先她而去。
親朋好友敬請光臨永福殯儀館,於1月16日(星期四)上午8點至10點參加悼念儀式,隨後前往賢慧佛院,再前往科土曉火葬場。
