To Gwen and her Family,
It is with profound sadness that I recently learned of the passing of Fong. Although it has been many years since we last saw each other, please know I remember our times fondly. Please know that the memories we shared socially and as members of the Boston Knights are still vivid in my mind.

We express our heartfelt condolences at the passing of Fong. You and he were always so hospitable when we visited you in Boston. I wish that we could've gotten together more often. We'll treasure the memories of all the times that we did get to see each other.

One of the best things that ever happened in my life was reconnecting with Gwen several years ago after our children were grown and able to care for themselves. Gwen and I had become friends in high school but she moved to Boston after marrying Fong so we didn't see each other that much afterwards.
Since we reconnected it was so much fun to visit Gwen and Fong because she loved to cook for her friends. Lucky us! Fong became quite the cook himself in retirement, especially breakfast. We friends were so well fed and pampered at Gwen and Fong's house.
I'll always remember Fong with appreciation and gratitude for his hospitality whenever my husband and I visited. Friends like he and Gwen are golden.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to the family on Fong's passing. I'll always cherish & cling to the fond memories and lifelong experiences shared with both Fong & Gwen. It was shocking news to learn of his passing but still best to hang on to all the good times playing VB, bowling, and BB. Fong's obituary captures his essence in a nutshell. We certainly had our moments over coffee at the Golden Gate waiting for VB practice even on rainy Sundays. Gwen, if there's anything you need from me, don't hesitate to call. You've ALWAYS been one of my favorite people. With my sympathies & love, Teddy Wong.
